Co-Founder & Managing Director
Andreas Friis (b.1982) is Co-Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Sustainability Hub Norway. He is the intellectual architect behind the concept and works on formulating the vision and direction as well as walking the talk with the team.
Andreas is passionate about value-based leadership and how purposeful businesses can help solve big problems. He has 10+ years of experience working with sustainable business models, social enterprise, hybrid companies and sustainability - including as a serial social entrepreneur himself.
Prior to building Sustainability Hub Norway, Andreas started and managed his own social enterprise & food company called Live Arctic. He has previously served as the Director of Strategy and Business Development at Me to We in Toronto, Canada (now We.org), where he helped build and create growth for a new sustainable social enterprise in Canada and the US. He is also the co-founder of Lederforum Grenland and football club FK Grenland.
Andreas has a B.Sc and M.Sc in Economics & Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). He also holds a B.A in Comparative Politics from the University of Bergen.
Cilia Holmes Indahl
Cilia is Co-Founder of Sustainability Hub Norway and works on building our knowledge base on how to successfully integrate sustainability into business.
Cilia is on a quest to redesign society so that the sustainable options are not only available, but more convenient than the alternative. She is a firm believer in business as a driving force for the change we need to see happen. As Youth Delegate to the Rio+20 Conference in 2012 and later trainee at the Norwegian Mission to the UN, Indahl got the opportunity to follow the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from inception to adoption in 2015. Today, she works on integrating the SDGs in business as Director of Sustainability at Aker BioMarine.
Before joining Aker BioMarine, Cilia worked in consulting and was part of KPMG's department on Climate Change and Sustainability Services. Cilia holds a double masters degree in International Business and Sustainable Development from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and HEC Paris. For her thesis work she interviewed 20+ global leaders in sustainable business and analyzed 400+ sustainable business models. Cilia serves as board member of the Nordic Social Innovation Incubator, SoCentral and sits on the advisory board of EXP group, an impact investment firm.
Ingrid Helsingen Warner
Ingrid is Co-Founder of Sustainability Hub Norway and works on building our community and creating the spaces for meaningful conversations.
Ingrid is committed to building the global village where voices are heard, people inspired and the right people know each other to handle the complex challenges that our world faces. A partner in Leidar Norway, she supports internationally-minded leaders and companies with their positioning and thought leadership activities. She profiles clients across traditional media through interviews with all levels of media and at global forums such as the World Economic Forum. Ingrid has started Minds of Oslo that gathers curious and passionate people for monthly dinners in Oslo, Council and Circles for conversations that matter.
Before joining Leidar, Ingrid was an account manager at Weber Shandwick in Switzerland and was seconded to StatoilHydro where she served as the company’s regional communications manager for Africa and Latin America. Ingrid holds a BA in Politics and International Studies from The University of Warwick, UK and is the University’s alumni representative in Norway while learning Arabic.
Anders is a Crowd-Founder of Sustainability Hub Norway and works on community building through communications and PR.
Anders believes that the heavy focus on climate and carbon emissions in the sustainability discourse must be balanced by a greater emphasis on investments, profitability and circular business modelling.
Day-to-day, Anders is a consultant at Geelmuyden Kiese, a Nordic communications agency, where he advise companies and organizations within sectors undergoing great productivity transformations; waste, construction, energy and payment systems.
Anders’ expertise lies in the intersection between business and politics. He holds a Master of Arts (Hon) in Economics and International Relations from University of St. Andrews, Scotland and a M.Sc in International Business and Politics from Copenhagen Business School.
Michel is a Crowd-Founder of Sustainability Hub Norway and works on building our community and creating events.
Michel is the Co-Founder of BiomimicryNorway, an organization dedicated to promoting the practice of circular economy and biomimicry (sustainable innovation inspired by nature). He is organizing workshops and courses for academia and the business world, and provides consulting services to help clients find sustainable solutions.
Michel used to work as a mechanical engineer in the oil industry. He started BiomimicryNorway because he felt an urge to balance his karma and make a positive contribution to the world. Getting involved in Sustainability Hub Norway felt like the natural next step to increase that impact.
Sunniva Bratt Slette
Sunniva holds experience from a broad spectre of fields to promote systemic sustainability transitions, including scientific research, electric mobility, marketing and journalism. She firmly believes in the sustainable business cases built on informed decision making and sound risk management.
Sunniva’s expertise lies in the intersection between strategy and finance. She holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management/ Energy and Environment at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), including an exchange year at Ajou University in South Korea.
As a sustainability analyst in Storebrand, Sunniva works to advocate the need to incorporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in investment decisions. Previously, she worked for the strategic research area NTNU Sustainability in Trondheim
Eivind is a Crowd-Founder of Sustainability Hub Norway, and works on arranging social and professional meetings and events for our community.
Besides moonlighting as a sustainability revolutionary, Eivind works with Strategy and Business Development at Norsk Gjenvinning – Norway's largest waste management player – supporting the company on operational improvements as well as developing new circular economy technologies and business models.
Eivind holds a double master’s degree in Finance and Sustainable Development from NHH and HEC Paris, and has previously worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company on topics ranging from operational efficiency in the oil sector, to innovative conservation finance and sustainability strategies for Norwegian corporates.

Pia is a Crowd-Founder and the Editor at Sustainability Hub Norway.
Currently, Pia is working part-time at Aker BioMarine as a Sustainability Analyst working mainly with their research fund and on sustainability reporting.
She has a background within sustainability journalism as an intern and writer at The Sustainability Report - an Australian online magazine focusing on ESG issues on the Australian stock market.
Pia just finished her Master's Thesis in collaboration with S-HUB, mapping the current landscape of Norwegian CSR initiatives.
She is passionate about integrating sustainability into business and, after completing her thesis, she plans to pursue a career on the subject.
Erik is a Crowd-Founder of Sustainability Hub Norway, and works on financing and
Erik’s mission is to build bridges between sectors, so that companies, governments,
organizations and private citizens pull together, to solve the fundamental challenges of our
time. Having seen sustainability mature from a niche topic to the cornerstone of
international cooperation and business strategy over the last 10-15 years, Erik is dedicated
to making commitments stick and materialize into profitability and shared prosperity. Erik’s
specialty is to whisper radical thoughts while wearing a dark suit.
Currently, Erik is Adviser and Program Coordinator for the World Bank Group Tax Evasion
Initiative, assisting developing countries in boosting tax revenues to finance development.
Erik serves as an advisory board member of the Norwegian-African Business Association, and
pursues a hobby project on responsible tax for institutional investors, in collaboration with
BI Norwegian Business School.
Previously, Erik worked on risk management and sustainability reporting in Ernst & Young,
and strategy and leadership in SIGLA, a boutique consultancy on sustainability. Erik holds a
B.Sc in Economics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and a M.Sc in
Economics from the University of Oslo.
Lauren is a Crowd-Founder of Sustainability Hub Norway.
Her mission in life is to understand the human experience. At 18, she moved to the Amazon of Ecuador as a Global Citizen Year Fellow, where she became passionate about unlocking the potential of people everywhere.
Since then, she has conducted development and sustainable innovation research on 4 continents, opening her perspective of the world. Lauren is interested in businesses in the sustainability sector because she believes they can have the most impact in reaching the Sustainable Development Goals. She has previously worked as a student sustainability researcher for Orkla.
Lauren loves taking calculated risks, as well as bridging people and ideas. She currently studies International Development and Environmental Studies at The Norwegian University of Life Sciences.
Marianne is a Crowd-Founder of Sustainability Hub Norway. She works on our strategy and business model, and contributes to building our knowledge base of the international landscape of sustainable business.
After almost 10 years in the sustainability industry in California, Marianne is excited to contribute to expanding the field at home in Norway. A natural systems-thinker, she specializes in connecting long term strategy with day-to- day implementation, and is a firm believer in the Business Case of Sustainability.
Through many years at Sustainable Brands – a global community of business innovators, brand leaders and sustainability professionals - she brings a unique understanding of the issues, common challenges and solutions in the value chain, as well as a solid network of leading practitioners in the field.
Marianne holds an MBA in Sustainable Business from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, and a BA in International Business from BI Norwegian Business School. She is G4-certified by the Global Reporting Initiative; the leading standard for Sustainability Reporting worldwide.
