Andreas Friis (b.1982) is Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Sustainability Hub Norway. He is the intellectual architect behind the concept and works on formulating the vision and direction as well as walking the talk with the team.
Andreas is passionate about value-based leadership and how purposeful businesses can help solve big problems. He has 10+ years of experience working with sustainable business models, social enterprise, hybrid companies and sustainability - including as a serial social entrepreneur himself.
Prior to building Sustainability Hub Norway, Andreas started and managed his own social enterprise & food company called Live Arctic. He has previously served as the Director of Strategy and Business Development at Me to We in Toronto, Canada (now We.org), where he helped build and create growth for a new sustainable social enterprise in Canada and the US. He is also the co-founder of Lederforum Grenland and football club FK Grenland.
Andreas has a B.Sc and M.Sc in Economics & Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). He also holds a B.A in Comparative Politics from the University of Bergen.
