Increased sustainability and ESG focus from stakeholders such as investors, owners, employees and customers prompts the CFO to have better overview and control over risks and opportunities in the sustainability domain. The CFO needs to have strategic and functional knowledge of what sustainable business means to their company and industry, and can be a key resource in driving change.
The CFO Sustainability Network was founded by Sustainability Hub Norway in 2020, and is now organized by S-HUB in deep collaboration with EY. It is an initiative to encourage and enable CFOs to take strategic leadership towards corporate sustainability transformations, and consists today of around 20 CFOs from leading companies in Norway.
