Erik F. Øverland
President of the World Futures Studies Federation REad More
Erik F. Øverland works on multiple foresight projects in Norway, and across Europe. He has a PhD in Futures Studies from the Free University of Berlin. Erik is a Co-Editor-in-Chief for the European Journal for Futures Research. Erik is a guest researcher at the Institut Futur in Free University of Berlin, Germany, and a policy advisor to the Minister of Education and Research in Norway. He has a background as a guest lecturer at the University in Stavanger on Foresight Management issues, and have served as a key note speaker on conferences in Norway and abroad. In 2012 he was the founder of and become the role as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of Futures Research EJFR. |

Hank has experience in projects supporting renewal in the public sector, in civic and stakeholder engagement, in creative dialogue that leads to action, in prototyping and entrepreneurial discovery, in creating environments that facilitate and enable innovation. Experience: • Designing process architecture to support innovation in the public sector (working in ministries, provincial and municipal government) • Discovering common ground and working with multiple perspectives in complex and sometimes adversarial work situations • Leading creative processes aimed at supporting and embedding innovation in large, hierarchical knowledge-based organizations, and in the sectors in society in which they operate. |
