Marianne is Director of Finance for Sustainability Hub Norway. She heads up our financial planning and analysis, alongside her role as a Board Member focusing on strategy and business model.
After more than 10 years in the sustainability industry in California and Washington, Marianne is excited to contribute to expanding the field at home in Norway. A natural systems-thinker, she specializes in connecting long term strategy with day-to- day implementation, and is a firm believer in the Business Case of Sustainability.
She brings a substantial contribution to our knowledge base of the international landscape of sustainable business. Through many years at Sustainable Brands – a global community of business innovators, brand leaders and sustainability professionals - she brings a unique understanding of the issues, common challenges and solutions in the value chain, as well as a solid network of leading practitioners in the field.
Marianne holds an MBA in Sustainable Business from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, and a BA in International Business from BI Norwegian Business School. She is G4-certified by the Global Reporting Initiative; the leading standard for Sustainability Reporting worldwide.
