Background
Over the past couple of years, supply chains have been pushed to the brink revealing the gaps in a complicated system that impacts everything from computer chips to everyday household goods such as toilet paper. These daily disruptions have had widespread impact across the world economy. Today, as geopolitical issues such as the war in Ukraine continue to develop, businesses must learn to operate through this complex landscape. To stay ahead of new regulatory change at the national and international level, they must therefore develop internal processes that ensure all key stakeholders across their value chain are working with the business towards a common goal of positive environmental and social impact. There is an urgent need for business leaders and decision makers connected to procurement and supply chain management to come together and discuss practical ways to meet these demands.
This meeting will be an opportunity for participants to discuss in roundtables key best practices for information gathering and how to approach supplier risk segmentation and prioritization.
