Sustainability Strategy summit 2020

Announcement (11.03.2020): Event postponed/canceled

​We are sorry to inform you that due to the Covid-19 situation, we have decided to postpone/cancel this event on March 25th.

Our current plan is to merge Sustainability Strategy Summit 2020 with our Sustainability Reporting-event on Wednesday April 29th (into a full day event) - with Reporting from 08-12 and Strategy from 12-16.

All attendees that purchased a ticket for the original event should have received a separate email with the option of a full refund or a ticket for the event on April 29th

We will of course consider the Covid-19 situation in April and decide if we will proceed with- or cancel this event on April 14th.

Beate Sjåfjell
Professor, University of Oslo




​Beate Sjåfjell is Head of Research Group on Companies, Markets and Sustainability (jus.uio.no/companies), and coordinator of the H2020-funded Project Sustainable Market Actors for Responsible Trade (SMART). Her main field is company law and corporate governance, with much of my research concentrating on the regulation of business in the broader context of sustainability.

​Elisabeth have spent her first months as head of sustainability in Atea developing a sustainability strategy for the company. The company has done great things on sustainability for many years, but now it was time to take sustainability into the overall company strategy and make it an integrated part of the whole business. Many companies are in the same process of taking sustainability to a more strategic level, and she will share some experiences on what this entails, who should be included in your company and how it can be done

From Finance and Financial analysis, to Sales, Sales Management and Sales strategy. Ecovadis is market leader in Sustainable Supply Chain Solutions, helping large multinationals get a grip on the sustainability of their Supply Base.

​Gisle Hauge works as Head of Purchasing at Fjordkraft. Gisle was responsible for implementing Kilmanjaro. A project initiated to clean up the companies supply chain and make all of Fjordkrafts suppliers climate neutral by 2019. He will share his experience, methodology, and insighs on what is next for the project
