Background
Digital technology has changed industries and are critical aspects of new business models. Companies have a growing need to take informed decisions and to have greater transparency. Developing new technologies can change the equation, making sustainability a good business practice. CTOs are expected to play a greater role in creating new business opportunities that drive financial sustainability, while enabling the company to play a key role in tackling global issues. Especially with high-risk technologies, there are huge gains in collaboration and to share the burden or the risk. More than technology, sustainability is an important factor in attracting talent.
At our next event we will continue the discussion from our last session around sustainability and tech.
