Following remarks by speakers, participants will be invited to share their thoughts in a roundtable discussion on the topic. With facilitators recording input on digital whiteboards, the audience will be invited to reflect on key questions including: - Are conventional business models fit for purpose?
- What internal changes are required to better accommodate innovation and leverage disruptive technology for positive impact?
- What are the roadmaps (tried and tested by organisations) that work?

Background
On 2nd November 2021, Sustainability Hub Norway (S-HUB) started scoping sessions in partnership with Accenture to develop a potential network on tech and sustainability. The network will seek to provide a safe space and solution-oriented arena for senior level tech and innovation professionals looking for practical insight, knowledge transfer and learning on the topic of sustainability specifically relevant for their roles and organisations.
At the second event in January, Kimberly Mathisen (CEO of C4IR Ocean) highlighted to participants the phenomenal escalation of collaborations on technology solutions across industries. In doing so, she stressed the pivotal role played by technology in “gearing our businesses from the old to the new”. As businesses continue to innovate, alongside a diverse customer base, the business case for diversity and inclusion in technology has never been clearer.
Today, tech and innovation leaders can fuel more effective and ethical innovation by embedding diversity and inclusion within technology teams. Recognising this shift, Sustainability Hub and Accenture have partnered to scope out a potential network on Tech and Sustainability.
